In the age of the media, the message and the market,
not planning your performance is a radical act.

here+now is about the primacy of the moment.
Not the routine falsification of history, nor the wilful blindness of utopia - but the here and now, in all its vulnerability, its flawed perfection and messy glory, and those who take delight in it.

here+now is about opening ourselves to the 'other' - both in others and in ourselves.
For artistic but also social and political reasons the unprepared act of creation, and especially collective creation, is moving towards centre stage in the peformance arts.

here+now is inspired by a movement taking place across new and old Europe.
Performers are increasingly choosing to create together at the very moment of performance, thereby opening themselves to chance: the unexpected, the unwanted, the impulsive, the dangerous, the authentic, the divine - the other.
